Petroleum hose is a hose manufactured or designed to transfer gasoline, oil and other petroleum product with a well attached Crimped fittings or
Reusable fittings at both ends.

A Petroleum hose also is a lighter weight and flexible hose that is made up of black,brown or other colorful nit-rile and chemigum synthetic quality rubber that can resist oil, abrasion ,weathering and also withstand a certain pressure

Petroleum hose reinforcement:

petroleum and oil hoses are made up of
a). A high tensile spiral wire:
the spiral wire is found in between the cover and the hose tube. They helps for both suction and discharging of oil, crude and petroleum products.
b). Synthetic fabric plies :
the fabric braids or plies help to resist temperature of about -40 deg to 160 deg F. and it also add more pressure to the hose.
